  • Tasted from a bottle that had been open overnight, and I liked this wines exuberance. Pepper sauce, bright berry fruit, fig paste and mulling spices on the nose. Bold and juicy on the palate, but tangy, with black cherry and currant fruit. Notes of graphite, anise and Brazil nuts add complexity. Has the stuffing to age while growing in nuance over the next three or four years, maybe more.
