Really not a pinot in alignment with the price tag. It's decent enough, but is very tightly wound after 9 years, didn't really open up, and lacks the depth and complexity I've come to expect from Tawse premium wines.

Beetroot and cherry cola, with a little chocolate and vanilla and spice, on the nose. Strawberry, cola, and chocolate on the palate. It certainly took a while to open up. Even so it was unfortunately not as great as we were hoping, especially at the price.

a bit disappointing...lost a fair amount of its essence from when we bought it at the vineyard a couple of years ago. Pleasant but fairly pedestrian and overpriced based on how it tastes now. Ontario pinots just don't cellar that well, even pricey ones. Could have got a reasonable Pommard or Nuits st George at this price point

Subtle red fruits. Earthy minerality on the nose.Tangy red fruits. Crisp acidity. Smooth transition to the finish. Has a little chocolate or mocha on the end. On the light side.
