Zachys La Paulée "Warm-up" Dinner (Sessions at the Presidio - San Francisco CA): Small glass, brief note. Powerful and broad array of white fruit with subtle spice. Dense and super concentrated. Very, very long. Seemed so fresh for its age. Mineral and acid based textures hinted at on the finish. Upside from here, rare for 2002 white Burg.

Ripe stone fruits, nuts, and toast on the nose. Not as intense compared to the 2002 Les Gouttes d'Or tasted side by side, and the minerality and drive faded slightly faster compared to that wine. Ready to drink right now.

Light yellow in color, initially nose with quite a bit of residual sulphur and a bit of durian. Took 2 hours to blow off and turned in very fresh citrus fruit, white flowers, very restrained in style, elegant yet slim with good complexity and long mineral finish. Will need 2-3 years more to open up further.

Well and truly ready to go with some honey and toast development. It is rich and full with sappy orchard fruits that invade every crevice of the mouth. It is quite big and muscular with excellent length of flavour.

Pre La Paulée Zachy's BYO Dinner (Sessions at The Presidio - SF, CA): A stunning nose with unreal purity and intensity of aromas. It's hard to believe that fruit so rich and decadent can be so taut and precise. Powerful and lively throughout and especially in the finish.
