I enjoyed this over several weeks with no drop in quality. Garnet color. Nose of prunes and baking spice. Caramel and fig on the palate, some cherry kirsch. Long finish. Exceptional for the price.

Pale ruby in color with a brownish hue.
Acid is medium, sweet tawny port, alcohol 20%, tannins medium but ripe and integrated, finish long and some unpleasant notes.
Aromas of sweet candied raisins, nutmeg, cloves, spices.
On the palate, dates, raisins, currants, cassis, vanilla, leather.
There's some unpleasant qualities about the finish that are a bit hard from describe.

Another great example on how people here lower their scores for cheaper wines. This is just as good as other ports at twice the price.
