Fruity nose as well as some black and green olive. Lots of spicy, toasty oak and strong coffee tones. Some salted caramel. Big, dry tannins. Nice currant and dark plum. The finish is all wood. That's the only detractor for me. - Tasted at winery Feb 2011

Tasted at circa 55 degrees with steak dinner. Dark ruby, clear. Faint clean plum and cherry nose. Moderately tannic. Spice faint anise. Earthy blueberry. Balanced acid, tannins. Could use more fruit. Moderate finish of spice and leather. Needs time.
