(100% Chardonnay, dosage 5 gr/l) Always very nice and fresh with a youthful nose showing minerals, citrus and green apples fruitiness in a pleasant way. Lots of ripe green apples on the palate with a spiciness on the mid and some ginger on the finish. (Probably best with 0-5 years extra cellaring)

(100% Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs, dosage 4 gr/L) Light yellow colour with greenish hue and a very youthful nose showing green apples, minerals and a hint of lime. Nice and smooth with a greenish apples acidity with a creamy smoothness showing a pleasant lime bitterness on the finish. (Probably best with 0-4 years extra cellaring)

Bienvenue a Champagne; 4/20/2023-4/29/2023 (Les Crayeres, various restaurants, Les Avises and a many wonderful producers): Blend of Oiry and Cramant. Again aged for 5 years before release. 2018 base wine. Some years this would also get a reserve but not this year (perhaps because ‘17 wasn’t as big of a vintage and ‘18 was quite large). 6 months with oak. 4 grams of dosage. It’s very crisp and precise. Feels like maybe there’s more depth here but at the moment it’s mostly sharp edges. I suspect the line-up somewhat colored the way I thought about these wines but it seemed to me just ok.
