Decanted 4 hours prior to tasting. Blue and black fruits lurk beneath creme de cacao, malt, and nougat. There is a sheeting effect to the mouthfeel, racy. Structure is solid but unobtrusive. Nice bottle.

Paso Robles Rhone Rangers (Broken Earth Winery): ruby in color. earth, blueberry, mocha, on the nose. bitter chocolate, blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, oak, herbs, on the palate. medium acid and tannins on the finish.
