  Tapas at a restaurant in Barcelona, having asked for a good Rioja, the waitress insisted we try this instead. "The house wine", she said - promising we would enjoy the fruit-forward but smooth character. Boy did we ever! Like a really restrained Zinfandel, this cut through the entire meal and was utterly delightful. Beautifully smooth and fruity wine with a reasonable finish considering its age. Well worth the 22 euro purchase price.
