Walla Walla Syrah Festival "Vintage Pour" (Cavu Cellars, Walla Walla): Cherry, minerals, dust and earth. Medium finish. Well made.

Good Syrah. Be patient and give this better than average value-wine a chance. Good but left me wanting just a little more
Decanted for almost an hour. One of the lighter Syrahs. A bit on the acidic side. A bit fruity.
A pleasant Syrah. Somewhat austere by Washington standards, great acid, lots of fine-grained tannins. Modest oak treatment, substantive finish.
