Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 88.7 points

  • Similar to previous note but has continued to develop and gain in richness.
The wine is clear and medium lemon in colour.
The nose is clean with medium (+) intensity flavours of citrus (lemon, lime, grapefruit), stone fruit (peach, nectarine), tropical (melon), herbaceous (grass), yeast (pastry). Hint of nuts and honey from tertiary development. The wine is developing.
The palate is dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, medium (+) body with some richness, medium (+) intensity flavours of lemon, lime, peach, melon, grass, pastry. The finish is long.
The wine is very good in quality and is drinking perfectly now.

The wine is very good in quality. It has complexity from a wide range of primary fruit clusters and also from secondary and tertiary clusters. It has concentration of fruit and a decent length finish. The acidity balances the fruit concentration. It lacks concentration and length to be outstanding.
The wine should be drunk now and is not suitable for further ageing, although there is no hurry to drink (next couple of years). It is unlikely to develop further tertiary characteristics and eventually the primary fruits will start to fade.
