Banfi horizontal in Tel Aviv: Brut, Fontanelle, Summus, Excesus, Mura, Oro (Tel Aviv): A subdued Italian chardonnay. (Still?) closed nose, subtle citrus, flint, vanilla, butter. Low acidity. A bit of bitterness on the finish. Maybe it will get better over time. Italians seem to be good at producing simple, fun, acidic and frivolous whites, or heavily oaked chardonnays. In between, they find it more difficult to get it right.
