  Distinctive aromas of leather and morello cherries. After additional aeration there’s also flavors of liquorice roots, bacon, ripe plums, bay leaves and black tea. Good attack on the palate, with a fully body, crisp acidity and prominent tannins. The latter appear fine-grained and ripe. Cherries, red fruit, spices and subtle notes of minerality on the palate. Long-lasting finish. I’m of the impression that this wine is just entering its drinking window and that a cellar potential of 6-8 years should be of no problem. 91+
  
  In der Nase glaube ich sofort Aromen von Leder und Schattenmorelle zu entdecken. Nach einiger Zeit folgen dann Süßholz, Speck, reife Zwetschge, Lorbeerblätter und etwas schwarzer Tee. Am Gaumen kraftvoll und mit ordentlichem Biss durch die straffe Säure und den präsenten Tanninen. Letztere zeigen sich fein und reif. Im Mund wiederholt sich der Eindruck aus der Nase zum Teil: Kirsche, rote Früchte, Gewürze und eine dezente Portion Mineralik. Langer Abgang. Ich würde sagen, der Wein steht am Beginn seiner Trinkreife und besitzt noch genügend Potenzial für weitere 6-8 Jahre. 91+

  Weekly tasting group #124; Germany: white and red. (@ The factory by MN): Vanilla, smoke, cherries in the nose and the mouth. Concentration. Some sweetness and medium acidity. The tannin has some bite.

  Colour: Light red, nearly transparent on the rims.
  Nose: Red & black cherry, a bit of raspberry, smoke, mineral components, banana, herbs and light notes from wood.
  Palate: High acidity, nice salty minerality. Good structured mid-palate and nice finish.
