Fine Wines of Stockton Weekly Tasting: Light color with a delicate citrus nose and slight hint of SO2. Nice acid balance, delicate weight, and a touch of tannin in the finish. A delicate, slightly complex, white burgundy that did not reveal its age and could last a few more years in the cellar. Decent but at $19 in 2012 a bit overpriced.

A big Beaune, deep and rich while not particularly complex. Very dry, bordering on austere, richness and depth balancing out what might otherwise be too acidic. A worthwhile if not extraordinary bottle.

Surprisingly oak driven aromatics of butterscotch, caramelized apples, sea spray, and vanilla. The palate follows suit, with a noticeable oak presence overshadowing orchard fruit and white florals. A persistent minerality and dried herbs/spice, however, keep the finish interesting. R&M 85

Made in a weighty, somewhat creamy style. Lacks a little in focus and finish. A solid wine though.

Excellent white burgundy profile, lacks the intensity of single vineyard releases but compensates with elegance and balance. Window now to 2016.
