New on the shelf at MLCC...one of a few bottles i'm eying to cellar for a few years...well this may fit the bill. This is nice with bright fruit (cherry/dark black berry). Medium to full bodied. Sugar is there, but balanced with acid/light tannin. There is complexity that comes through on finish, but can't quite elaborate on with appropriate adjectives! Tasty though. Oak is very restrained. Drinks great by itself or with a good episode of addictive TV, but food of course elevates this. For price this is a no brainer for a crowd friendly "special" wine to bring to events/dinners...nice one.
