  We drank this at a 50th birthday celebration in Vienna. It was dark and brooding, slightly faded and it didn't give much fruit or aromas. It succeeded a fabulous 1969 Echezeaux from Leroy and was followed by a La Tache 1969 so it had a lot to live with.
