A good rose with bold fruit, good tannic structure, and pretty good acidity (I didn't feel the relatively high dosage). Probably not a wine that will wow the crowd, but a very pleasing companion to food that you can enjoy over days. Worked with everything I tried from Indian curries to pistachios, to tortillas (the guidance on drinking window for this wine seems off).
This was a 100% Pinot Noir using traditional saignee method; disgorged in 2016. 10 grams of dosage.

DG 04/2015 Very broad berries bouquet with lots of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, cranberries, rhubarb, watermelon, elderflower, gamey, blood (iron), smoke, burnt sugar, candy apple, candy floss, gummies, sage and menthol finish. Gentle tannic structure, creamy texture, moderate acidity; noticeable not-very-low dosage but that works very well together, a gentle oxidation completes a very satisfying experience. 91pt
