Opened and let bottle breath for an hour. Sampled and was disjointed. Decanted for another 4 hours and was ready. Thinly transparent ruby with some orange edging. A balance of fruit and savory on the nose. Velvet soft palate with fruit, a little spice, mineral, and oyster shell. Depth and complexity. I believe this will easily hold past the 2025 drinking window.

Decanted for 4 hours. Paired with Venison Bourguignon. Medium ruby with bricking on the edge. A beautiful balance of fruit, spice, and savory on the nose and palate. Harmonious, velvety, depth, and complexity.

PnP and let sit 10-15 minutes before sampling. Transparent red with a hint of orange at the edge. Classic Pommard perfume. Soft cherry fruit aroma with some secondary, savory notes entering in. Nicely balanced with dinner of beef and veal meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans as well as shrimp and grits with Andouille sausage. The wine did clash with the pepper in the shrimp and grits. Overall we both thought this was delicious with dinner. After dinner there is a slight note of astringency in the wine. Good complexity with food.

Medium ruby. Harmonious, smooth, rather silky. Complex and intriguing. Savory with a touch of middle eastern spice. By the glass (at Les Climats).
