Nice versatility here. The sweetness is not over powering. This is surprisingly well balanced and would fit right in chilled before dinner or with a cheese plate. Nice botrytis notes, orchard fruit and fruit candy. Good acidity.

Solid acidity, well balanced. Delicate but possessing good power. Not obviously sweet. There is a touch of sweet integrated within the tropical fruits. Minerality and verve really balance this out. Unfortunately only a one off from Favia.

With PH on a Sunday afternoon, first wine after a splash of Pahlmeyer Chard. This is a one of a kind wine made by Andy Erickson, the back story was something of an accident. Came out as an amazing wine, why they bottled as a 500ml
Off=sweet wine that would pass for an Alsatian or German Riesling. Viscous mouth feel, great "legs", rich semi-sweet wine. Has a botrytis tinge, apple, pear, honey. Could pass for a dessert wine or an aperitif, amazing and very unique wine

This is a semi-sweet "one off" wine made by Favia from the Shake Ridge vineyard in Amador County. It is an absolute stunner. It has loads of tropical fruit, citrus and nice floral note. There is good acidity here. The Favia folks suggest that this has some botrytis character, and this is true although the wine itself (I believe) never went through botrytis. This is a cross between a Rhone white and sweeter white from the Loire. Really terrific juice.
