Slow oxed for 2 hours before serving. Signature coche gunflint, popcorn, dried extract, and smoked yellow fruit on the nose and palate. While the mid-palate did not have lots of substance, the flinty and popcorn-ish palate more than offset that shortfall. With the fresh acidity in the backdrop, the wine stayed energetic and interesting throughout dinner. This bottle showed more complexity than the previous one I had.

Impeccable condition. Grilled nut, brioche, petrol, and almond on the nose. Palate took time in the glass to open up. Very intense and rich without being too ripe. 93 white continues to impress. The only criticism on the wine is slightly one dimensional but it is very enjoyable.

THE Burgundy Dinner (The Doctors Nosnik Cellar - Dallas TX): A late night bonus that complemented the cheese. Nicely mature apple with toasted walnut. Incredible power and length for its level. If served blind I'd have thought it slightly younger and probably Grand Cru.

Light golden color, still very fresh nose with lots of oak that is obscuring other elements. Medium palate with good fruit but lacks focus and complexity. Curiously the nose opened up even more after 3 hours with flinty popcorn nose but palate faded. Ok wine but far from as good as 92 counterpart.

Took about 20mins of air to warm up. This had the Coche house style. This bottle was drinking at peak now and won't improve so better to consume these now than risk decline. A good and very pleasant drink but without the stuffing to be a brilliant Coche.
