  • This is good. The green stripes of the 2011 vintage that are noted in past notes seem to have largely subsided, giving way to an herbal undercurrent that plays well with the dark berry fruit and licorisce tones and ancillary (very "Gevrey") soil and subtle leather tones. Slight candies sour cherry note with air, sneaking, but mild, tannins at the outset.

    Good - Drink now.

  • Hmm. Off vintage shows it's stripes. Stick to '09 or '10 versions of this. Those are good. This is stemmy/green and lacking the QPR of aforementioned vintages.

  • Shows as cool vintage Burgundy, with a bit of herbal/piney/minty character, but ultimately inconclusive on whether these elements portend a 2004-like issue with greenness for this 2011 wine. Tough to judge at this point, but this is at least decent, but without any distinguishing excellence.
