A fresh vibrant wine that had a really pleasant spicy aroma. Bright red, light with great fruit vibrancy. I tasted strawberries with a hint of orange, pomegranate, and cherry cola. It had a nice long finish to it as well. Thought it might be on the downside but it was magnificent. I enjoyed this a lot. Sad that it was my only bottle.

Something of an herbal nose with hints of stone fruit. On the tongue it is immediately and “not terribly big” wine. There are fruit flavors—some strawberry, some cherry. The upper palate gets the fruit “sweetness” part. A pleasant wine. I question its age-worthiness, but, right now, it is perfect to accompany a casual meal.

In the glass, the wine is light-garnet with a nose of strawberry and orange rind. On the palate, the wine is lighter-bodied than other Central Coast Pinots with moist earth, strawberry and muted cherry notes. The wine has a lengthy finish with plenty of acid, and should age nicely for several years. This is not your typical Cali Pinot with a flavor profile that is decidedly Burgundy.

Not the best Pinot from Ojai, heavy on the palate with a funny alcoholic after taste.
