  • Nose: Not overly expressive. Kind of musty. Mouth: Much better than the nose. There is smokiness. Some dark fruits like Cassis and blackberry are lingering in the background. Dried herbs, too. Smooth mouthfeel. Unfortunately the wine finishes quite bitter. It goes very well with rustic food and bitterness is felt no more. Let the wine breathe for some time and it will open up and more than one raspberry can be felt.

  • Blend of Syrah, Cornalin, Humagne Rouge, Diolinoir. Expovina 2012 Silver Medal winner. Smoky, blackberry, oak-influenced-Syrah-type aroma, but red berry-fruitier on palate. Medium body, med(+) acidity, low tannin. Not bad but expensive, aroma suggests a bigger wine. Drink with cervelat or a hamburger.
