Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88 points

  • Color: Garnet with ruby edges
Nose: Very tight and even after an hour open leather, meat and jammy cassis notes are very light
Flavor: Robust blackberry and cassis, jammy with pepper notes - very good
Mouthfeel: full, thick, dense and chewy

Solid blend from the Jumilla DO, especially at the price point. this blend is Monastrell 40%, Syrah 30%, Tempranillo 30% and you do get the pepperiness of the Syrah and the meaty, jamminess of the Monastrell.
