Geraniums and menthol on the nose. On the palate, pear, apricot, white flowers, and notes of pineapple and lemon on the medium finish, with good acidity. Unlike a previous bottle, this didn't show any significant oxidation, and it held up well over two days without fading. Well-stored bottles with good corks should be good for at least a few more years. This was a bargain at under $30.

Definitely starting to oxidize, would drink up soon, but not over the hill. Smell had a strong initial oxidative funk similar to a Sherry or an orange wine, followed by caramel, browned butter, burnt orange, white peach, maybe some vegetation (asparagus?). Very aromatic nose. Slight oxidative funk again in taste, apple cider, caramelized orange. Low acidity. A very interesting, enjoyable wine, but wouldn't hold on to it for too much longer.

Light golden color. Honey and flowers on the nose. Pineapple, flowers and peaches on the palate. Delicious glass of wine particularly given its age.

Garagiste selection -- "regular" bottling... not the Reserva Speciale
Color: brilliant gold
Nose: medium-full intensity; very complex rich, flowers and sweet tropical fruit; notes of vanilla
Body/flavor: medium-full body; rich, complex flavors of fresh and dried tropical fruit; warming spices
Aftertaste: lingering!
Amazing 17 year old white... still have on left plus the reserves!
