2010 Philippe Pacalet Whites and Reds (SF Wine Trading Company): Medium color. Rich, powerful wine with obvious wood. Citrus and toast flavors. Very little here that reminds me of the steelier, leaner Puligny style. In fact, more like Meursault. Sheesh, nearly $100 for this?!?

Nice, steely Puligny nose with some white flower. Middle weight, some flesh, a deft touch of wood, and citrus fruit. Certainly not as rich as the Meo Hautes Cote, but at the same time, lacking a bit of precision. Good though.
