  • This is a love letter to a fantastic wine!
After finishing my life's fastest case of delicious wine in less than 6 months. This wine really does grow after a few days of slow-ox. Just over 80p on opening, but becomes fabulous after a few days.

Rich red hue with no signs of maturity.
Nose is rich with PN typicity and then some. Neither refined nor evolved, but true to its grape. Deep fruity aromas.
On the palate this is linger-ficken DEEEE-LICIOUS! Acids propping up the whole set. Tannins M-. Fruit is rich, but has an addition of either grape juice or of another sweetener. However, this is sooo much my taste of "deliciousness" that I will not hesitate to finish another case or three.
Even more delicious than Cola Zero!

Wife: huh? really? but why? 73p.
    Will buy more!

  • A high score for this FANTASTIC wine!
There is this enormous difference between this wine opened and enjoyed immediately AND this wine opened and aerated for a lengthy time.

This wine is good enough for a lengthy assessment... Ganbare!

  • A much better choice than today's release of this year's wine terror: Beaujolais Nouveau. Incredibly affordable is the World's best selling wine brand and, I must say, very decent quality level.
Nose is simple but bursting with young New World PN aromas.
In the mouth it gives you a delicious PN without anything strange, unbalanced or contrived. M+ acids, M- tannin creating some small transparency. Delicious wine! (83p.)
Have had many MUCH WORSE OFF Burgundies at 10 times the price...
I could buy and drink this again, including small anticipation.

    UPDATE
Last glass in btl, after 5 days under screw cap: One of the best and richest, most well made New World PN's I ever had. This is WOW! A clear up-grade and a kick in my self-importance-groin where I had anticipated that this was going to be something flaccid, stale, watery and possibly also foul for making a little fun of "Happy Burgundy Thursday"...

Now sporting herbs and mint, soft licorice, rich and lush, pure fruit on a semi-transparent structure with welcoming warmth and enough interest to last a full set dinner. Wow! I'm perplexed with ... happiness :-) This is by far the cheapest high-scoring wine we've acquired this year.

Will get a few for keeping a small number of years. Yow!
