Deep, dark ruby red. Expressive, appealing aromas and flavors of violets and a bit of charcoal, almost like a syrah lite. Some tannins/structure seem to be lurking in the background but don't interfere with the juiciness on the palate. Seems like there's material here to unwind a bit, but this is quite approachable and delicious now.

I agree that this is a nice fruit forward wine. A good buy to drink casually as an aperitif. I did not think this was closed down at all but I guess each bottle might vary some.

This is a bit closed down, and is the first 2011 bojo that has seemed that way. Great fresh berry fruit, spice, and subtle savory elements on the nose. The palate is medium bodied and tight. With some air, bright raspberry and dark cherry emerge with purples florals, sanguine minerals and finish spice. Enjoyable, but will be better in the future. Hold.

Bojo typé et structuré. Tout en fruit, encore sur le primaire. Potentiel de garde certain.
