  Initially the Mourvèdre was prominent with forest fruits and a slight forest floor earthiness to the nose, followed by black cherries on the palate and a chocolatey finish. Some subtle pepper and spice from the Syrah made its way into the arena a couple of hours in. Very pleasant.
