I wasn't sure how to approach this bottle but a quiet evening with my girlfriend and some fantastic pâté and sirloin steak seemed like a good start. Opened the bottle an hour before eating, decided not to decant at all, wonderful nose of typical aged Bordeaux, mushrooms and old wild fruit. The palete wasn't fruit forward, the age held the front row, this didn't bother me much as the fruit is there, there's some dusty attic on the after taste.
Open for over two hours now, this is my last glass there is still a dusty undertone but I enjoyed every drop of this, good solid fruit backing this up.
Drinking well :)
Finishing Note: Would benefit from a double decant 1.5hrs before serving.

Last bottle, shame, well over the hill, like vinegar!
