I was pretty sure this was going to be past its prime, and it was flat and grapejuice-y on opening. With some air it took on weight and had some nice bright cherry flavors with a pleasant mouthfeel.

Another awesome recommendation from Full Pull Wines. We've enjoyed this every time we've had it. Really think the Negroamaro grape is underrated. It's earthy and spicy but the fruit truly shines through on the finish. Highly recommend and I've been drinking it over the past 3 years now with further improvement as it ages.

Boysenberry, medium-grained tannins. Decent acidity. Very enjoyable.
