1976 - 1996 Pinot Noir (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Dark red, darkest of the flight. Interesting nose of black tea and soy. Light bodied with low acidity. Savory palate with cinnamon and touches of black cherry and leather. Interesting, but clearly on the way down. (my 4th, group's 8th)

A Bunch of Wines on a Saturday Afternoon (Ken's): This has held up pretty well. Ruby in color. The nose is cherry cola. On the palate, this is a nice simple pinot noir. I would have expected less fruit and more complexity at this point, but, there you go. It is good and enjoyable and I am sure past prime. No idea what this was like young though.

Tasting of 7 Pinot Noirs.
Fruity pinot noir nose and in the mouth, medium body, some tannin on finish, some complexity.
My #6 of 7.
