Dark Brown raisin color. Still tasting very good and strongly oxidized. Definite prune flavor and still the golden raisin flavor from a few years back. Enjoyed but time to drink the rest

Some lovely fruit and sweetness but it does not last too long. A definite strong hint of molasses - especially when tasted alongside the straw wine from Mullineaux

Deep straw gold. Lovely nose with thick honeysuckle, toasty, a little papaya and cooked apricot. Moderate acidity (5.5/10) with medium bodied. Delicious texture, silky and rich with apricots and pears. Very sweet with lots of residual sugar. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2024.

Popped and poured this with the family. The color is brown, almost cola like. I was actually really caught off-guard with the color. I was expecting a honey like golden color, similar to a sauternes...so when I saw this dark brown color, I was afraid the wine was badly oxidized. However, regardless of what the color showed, the flavors were not off.
On the palate, the flavor profile was toasted almonds in a caramel reduction. Almost a burnt caramel flavor profile. I also noted strong notes of dark honey and apricot.
This was a nice dessert wine, albeit sweeter than I would have liked. I know icewines have a lot of residual sugar, but this was on the sweeter side compared to other icewines I've had (mostly German).
Overall this is a pretty good dessert wine. Solid 89 pointer, just wasn't at the level to break 90. I recommend drinking this by the end of 2016. It still had an interesting flavor profile but definitely on the end of its plateau, if not starting to decline. Don't think this will last much longer in the cellar without losing complexity on the flavors.

Dark orange color. Very mature. Flavors of citrus and burnt sugar.
