This is considered as one of the best (or even THE best) Greek red wine ever produced. Medium garnet color. Impressively fresh, almost juicy cherry fruit, cassis, eucalypt and hints of cedar. Medium-bodied with textbook tannins, vibrant fruit and balancing acidity. Long aftertaste. Retains its fruit perfectly and is at peak with a life ahead. That being said, my expectations were very high and this lacked the complexity I was anticipating from such a highly praised wine.
