Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • {screwcap} Old-time nose of gooseberry cut with a large dose of asparagus. The palate isn't as cutting as you'd expect; clearly aging has lessened its impact. The acid seems fairly unobtrusive, which robs the wine of a little freshness; its dry, light-medium bodied, but the finish fades away a bit quickly. I wanted to like it, but a single glass was enough. Overall a bit simple. Drink now.
