Root Day - PnP - almost black in the glass out to a crimson edge. Nose is all blueberry with herbs and a touch of oak. Seems very primal. Flavours of blueberry, blackberry, oak, vanilla. Surprisingly medium bodied with structured tannins. The finish is medium in length with the blueberry and savoury herbs with some vanilla continuing. Will serve with Beef Osso Buco and saffron risotto - hoping it’ll hold up.
