  • Deep garnet colour, tawny at the rim. Classic aged nose - aromas of forest floor, chalk, and raspberries. The palate is delicate and subtle, ripe red fruits, the chalkiness also coming through. The finish is light but persistent. Acidity is good and tannins are still rather affirming, though there doesn't appear to be enough fruit to warrant further ageing, probably best around 5 years ago.
