Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • The nose is anise, liquorice, blackfruit and welcoming. Rich in the mouth with firm tannins, the palate opens and reflects the nose with black pepper, and blueberries sneaking in. Overall softer than the first time I tasted it and the tannins feel more integrated. 3.5/5

  • Deep red with purple hints. The nose shows a light creamy oak, and deep red fruit of reaspberry and blackberry. Strong, firm tannins and a medium acid give it a strong mouthfeel. Cherry accented with spiced oak fill out the palate with some other red fruits hiding behind the strong tannins. Definatly might improve given a 3-4 year rest. Very nice wine 3.5/5
