Paired wine with sauted chicken thigh, mushrooms and asparagus. Wine poured deep golden color. Nose was very faint with hints of Apple, melon, and a tiny bit of earth. On the palate it is very acidic but not too much where it makes it hard to enjoy. The apple and melon notes linger nicely and you also get a slight hint of toasted oak. Overall a very nice wine from one of my favorite wineries! The wind did stand up well with the meal and more interesting flavors developed when paired with the food.

This was a nice Chardonnay but not great especially for the price. Had a nice level of acid but it had a little bitterness the I'm not used to tasting in chards.

Drank this last night with Garlic Shrimp and homemade spinach pasta. It was a hit with the three of us. Sorry for not taking detailed notes but we were enjoying it so much along with the meal I didn't take detailed notes. From memory it was great. Soft edges but still with plenty acid to hold it together. Looking forward to my second bottle which we will drink sometime this year.

Very un-Dehlinger. This is more French in character, with lighter use of oak and more delicate. But it's missing body and minerals to hold it together. This is not one I'd seek out.
