Color: Yellow Aroma: Floral, melon, honey-lemon Taste: Pleasantly acidic, tropical fruits, mild toast, velvety mouth-feel Finish: Medium Notes: This is still a great wine. Too bad it's the last bottle in the cellar. We think it actually improved a little from the last time we drank it (09/23/2008). Paired very nicely with a tangy fish and pasta entree.

Blend: Assyrtiko, Athiri, and Aidani Aspro Color: Medium yellow Aroma: Floral, melon, honey-lemon Taste: Pleasantly acidic, tropical fruits, mild toast Finish: Medium Notes: Very drinkable, especially with food. Paired very well with a spicy Szechaun fish dish. It was definitely a short bottle. Fortunately, we have two more in the cellar.

Light to medium deep golden colour. Santorini nose with citrus and mineral notes, slightly smoky, not very intense, but the wine might have been cooled too much. Rich, with fuller and creamier than usual texture, also seemed just a little bit too alcoholic. Tangy and lemony, with good accidity. Was 03 an atypical vintage in Greece too?

90+ Wine Club, Aged Santorini wines (The Wine Circus): The wine shows deep yellow/amber color.
In the nose, the wine shows fully evolved character, very ripe citrus notes, nutty, earthy, heavy floral notes, salty caramel. The wine loses its profile pretty quick
Palate with med body, showing elevated acidity, citrus jam, nutty, almond, persistent finish, lemon curd, pineapple jam, aggressive, edgy, angular, harsh
