Love lightfoot's tn. Thought this was less oaked than prior vintages, but a little hot. Boozy around the edges, but overall pretty damn lithe. Orange marmalade, vanilla, and marzipan surge through the middle. Might guess Rhone varietal blind if not for the distinctive Parr fruit. Rich, but not heavy. Way overdelivers for the price, just like its Los Olivos sibling, year after year. Get some.

The Parr vyd bottling has had a tendency to be a tad hot and overoaked (esp the '09) though nevertheless delicious. The 2010 is nearly perfectly balanced between firm acidity and luscious quince/apricot/vanilla cream.
