  • From 375ml. Blood orange in color. A bit watery and some bricking at the rim. Initially showing simple but pretty, light cherry aromas. After 15 minutes, the nose became a bit darker, showing dark cherries, raspberries, and floral hints. After 30-40 minutes, the nose started the fade, bringing a bit of earth and oak into focus. The palate was elegant, with subtle but clean cherry flavors. Good acidity added more liveliness to the wine. Tannins seem to have faded away completely. The finish is medium-length. After 45-50 minutes, the wine started to fall apart. I would say this is a bit beyond resolved, and though still somewhat lively, definitely beginning to fade. Regardless, baked chicken, honey glazed carrots and rice all coaxed nice flavors from the wine. Decent QPR at $11.99/375ml.
