Took to Tam O'Shanter. The expected oakiness has receded and the wine was drinkable, with resolved tannins, gentle acidity and discreetly spicy red and black fruit. Nothing spectacular, but a good showing.

had over 2 nights. 1st night was simple, mid-lightweight, light tannins. 2nd night was significant improvement with additional weight (still midweight at best) and herbal components showing up. 89+ at end. A few bottles left so I will try to decant and not touch until the 3rd night!.
