Interesting flavour profile but textbook Piccadilly Valley in the Petaluma style. Flavours of green skinned fruits on front palate quickly giving way to nectarine and the vanilla notes of the american oak. Some residual sugar remaining.

Bright and clear golden yellow color with intense citrus, peach, ripe pineapples with a touch of rich vanilla oak. The initial attack was quite intense, fruity and spicy with some minerals and creamy oak on the first day but eventually settled down over the next two days into a much balance and mellower wine with all its vital components in place. The middle palate is incredibly rich and persistent. In short, this is a beautiful Aussie chardonnay with an air of sophistication.

Perfect restaurant wine. Classy but not complex nor hiding. Drinking well now. Well made from cool climate fruit but needs more concentration and acid to move it into the top sphere. 13% screwcap.

Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, melon, fig and butter. Flavours of grapefruit, lemon, lime, minerals and a gentle vanilla oak. Maybe a bit simpler than what I was expecting but still pretty good.
