Very rich, full and powerful. Tonnes of botrytis, apricot, orange and tropical fruits. Very sweet, and unfortunately, a little too cloying and lacking in fresh acidity. I won't deny it's delicious, but I need more subtlety and restraint for my palate. Still, worth a go.

2013 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (homebush & Darling Harbour): [Trophy – Best sweet wine] {375ml, screwcap, 11%} Sweet honey aromas; so pure and clean; don’t come here looking for that burnished Sauternes character. This is youthful, clean and luscious, with medium acidity which holds the medium-sweet honey fruits on some sort of structure. The botrytis character is so clean, so fresh; it could be an almost fluorescent experience but for the sweet charm of the flavours. A medium-long finish that doesn’t sag helps things too; to the point where you kind-of know this should be drunk within 5 years. So, drink up!

Visit to the Hunter: Pineapple and honey with some apple and passion fruit. Palate is very sweet and a touch cloying for me.
