  • My first experience with a white Beaune so while I don't have a basis of comparison for quality, this was very, very good and interesting. I thought of it like a cross between the linear, crisp, fruit driven side of Puligny Montrachet and the richer, woody, plush side of Meursault. It's expensive, so I don't know if I'll buy but I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for future white Beaune. Lots of soft white fruit, minerals, spice and a lovely finish.
