Light brass. 22 years on this was more gently varietal. Definite but subtle cress, only a little black pepper. Dry but moderately rich with some honeydew perhaps. Good acidity. Mouthfeel like a mature white Burgundy. A stately wine.

Beautiful light gold color that has changed little since release, lovely mouth-filling apricot and honeysuckle with a touch of slate balanced by pretty good acidity and just a touch of bitterness on the finish. It is aging glacially but well.

Pretty golden color, fairly rich, with a little botrytis showing, but with enough acidity to keep it balanced, it is still drinking quite well and doesn't seem likely to fall off a cliff any time soon.

Noah's Kitchen. A little tired compared to my penultimate bottle 3 years ago.

Loved this perhaps even more than the Hirtzberger GV alongside it. These wines are doing it for me in a way that Austrian Riesling never has.
