The nose is very subtle, with apple and a touch of caramel. The palate is medium bodied, lightly sweet and reminiscent of a barely sweet Chenin Blanc. Although I wouldn't describe it as a "dessert wine" due to the subdued sweetness, I think it's delicious and would go well with a cheese platter or some nicely seared scallops. It's tough to tell how long this will age, but it's drinking well now and can probably hold up for a while longer.
