Very aromatic wine. Aromas of dark fruit & wet slate. On the palate: medium bodied, smooth tannins, slightly dry. Flavors of leather, blackberry, & cedar. Let it sit for an hour, if you can wait for it to come in full flavor. If not, you will still enjoy. Nice drop and nice price point.

Great grippy wine with enjoyable rustic acid/tannin finish. Definitely needs and of air and time should improve it. Purchased at the winery and cellared since. Decent QPR.

I tend to favor Spanish wine but this effort from Portugal is very good. Lots of red spicy fruit and very solid acid backbone. I bought the wine only 2-3 years ago from a well known purveyor in Ann Arbor and paid maybe $15 or so and well worth it. My wife loved it so that makes it a winner in my book!
