Classic Pinot nose with cherry candy, cola and strawberries, which I felt was more promising than the palette.
Had a lengthy finish but a slightly bitter black tea like aftertaste at first. Softened a bit as the night went on. Not very complex for $35 bottle of wine

Medium ruby, viscous slow moving legs @ 14.4% abv. Developing medium aromas of baked red fruits, coffee notes, undergrowth, alcohol. Dry, medium acidity, low-medium(-) ripe tannin, medium body, medium(+)-high alcohol. Balanced, except for the residual alcohol heat. Good length almost crips finish, suave texture. Elegant, really nice.

Purple color with aroma of red cherry, strawberry licorice and hints of mineral and petrol. Medium body and tannins. Was balanced at beginning but went flat 30 min into drinking.
