popped and poured right out of the cellar, temp was just above 50 degrees. Unripe honeydew and watermelon on the nose and the faintest hint of rubber bicycle tire inner tube. there is something dead about this wine when it hits the tongue, like it doesn't stimulate any of my tastebuds on the front half of my tongue. then there is a shocking acidity on the sides of the back half of my tongue. then a flavor of synthetic strawberry flavoring (like how strawberry jello tastes) and this flavor continues on the finish along with a bitter (and tart) stale type of taste. Tart I don't mind but the bitter/stale thing kinda subtracts from the experience. I'll write another comment if it improves with more air time or as it warms up...

Best value rose of the summer period. Very vibrant and crisp with great red fruit on the nose with a bit of melon. Nice acidity supporting this making it easy to work with food.

(Renegade Wine Co. Rose Columbia Valley) Pale salmon colored. Subtle aromas of watermelon, strawberry, and citrus. The palate is dry and tart with a blast of acid that carries it through on the finish. 76% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 4% Cinsault. 12.5% alcohol. Recommended

Not as good as the 2013 at this point, based on our back to back tasting. Color is much more salmon colored, higher acidity and less fruit.
